From June 22 to June 28th, ShortFest 2010, Palm Spring’s International Short Films Festival, brings its films to the Sunny Southern California Resort Town. This year, over 320 short films will be entered into the film festival, making this year a “must see” event.

We look forward to any summertime events that attract large groups like this

This year’s International ShortFest 2010 will prove to be the largest and most popular in the film festival’s short history. With over 320 short film submissions, users will be able to watch short films for the entire weeklong event.

With many of the short films featured at the festival gathering national attention with Academy Award® nominations, this is no ordinary short films festival. Visitors will be treated to the best of the best.
Over 20,000 guests are expected at this year’s International ShortFest which means that hotels and local Palm Springs RV campgrounds are preparing for the influx of visitors.

“Generally Palm Springs is a ‘snowbird’ type area, with more visitors in the wintertime where mild weather draws in retirees and vacationers. Summer can be a little slow since temperatures can hit triple digits fairly regularly” said Randy Wright, Marketing Director for Colorado River Adventures RV Resorts. “We look forward to any summertime events that attract large groups like this” continued Wright.

And with a summertime special featuring three nights of RV camping in Palm Springs for $19.95, there is no better place for RV Travelers to stay in Palm Springs this summer than the nearby Cherry Valley Lakes RV Resort.

About the Company: Cherry Valley Lakes is an RV Park in Southern California, just outside of Palm Springs. Cherry Valley Lakes is a part of the Colorado River Adventures Family which features RV Resorts in California, Arizona and Nevada.
