Carolina Knife Company Announces New Line of Jagenberg Slitter Blades
Carolina Knife Company, Inc. is announcing the initiation of a new product line to begin production immediately. This product line is the Jagenberg top and bottom slitting knives. Jagenberg is a manufacturer of high-speed slitting equipment used in paper mills and converting factories around the world. Carolina Knife Co. will manufacture blades from all grades of tool steal as well as the carbide inlay configuration.
Asheville, NC (PRWEB) November 3, 2008 -- Carolina Knife Company, Inc. is one of the few domestic manufacturers of the European made Jagenberg cutting blades. Carolina Knife Co. intends to stock about half of the Jagenberg product line in its Asheville, NC and Hamilton, Ohio facilities. The balance of the items will be made to order. Normal delivery times of a made to order specification will be four to six weeks from start to finish.
All blades will be manufactured in the Asheville, North Carolina plant. All blades will be manufactured to within the tolerances required by the Jagenberg Company. CNC lathes and grinding equipment will be used to hold these tolerances to the highest standards. Expedited deliveries are available on a per request basis.
Along with this new line of Jagenberg paper slitter blades, Carolina Knife Co. also manufacturers a full line of rotary circular blades and industrial straight blades for a wide variety of conversion industries. Carolina Knife Co. also specializes in blade sharpening for these industrial blades.
