Parksite is pleased to announce that it is now distributing Tech-Wood’s innovative Siding 2.0 products in the United States’ northeastern region. Tech-Wood is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality, wood polymer composite products for residential construction.
Parksite will offer four Tech-Wood siding profiles, or patterns. They include 7 in. Bevel siding, 7 in. Channel siding, 6 in. Cove (Dutch Lap) siding, and 8 in. Twin 4 siding. All Tech-Wood products are composed of 75% long-strand pine fiber from sustainably managed forests.
“Parksite is always looking to find technologies that can produce products with a basket of unique selling features that improve upon what already exist today,” said Scott Thomas, Parksite marketing director. “The technology behind Tech-Wood opens up an incredible realm of possibilities for siding, decking, and trim that will provide opportunities for our dealer partners to offer unique solutions to their customer base.”
Tech-Wood’s composite siding is known for its rigidity, simulated tongue and groove engagement, compatibility with paint and semi-transparent stains, easy installation, ability to stand up to moisture and temperature extremes, 50-year warranty, and lifelong value.
Tech-Wood siding is stronger, stiffer and 35% lighter than fiber cement. Builders don’t have to worry about hazardous or toxic dust when cutting the material. During installation, the siding simply stacks up one course on another, which means that builders don’t have to continually use a leveling tool.
“We believe Parksite is the premier building materials distributor in the Northeast, and we are excited about having our Tech-Wood siding products in its capable hands,” said Skip Miller, Tech-Wood’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Parksite has the organizational strength and substantive resources to successfully roll out our products and actually put them in potential customers’ hands. When people touch and see our siding, they have an immediate understanding of the quality, durability and long-term value Tech-Wood offers.”
Initially, Parksite will distribute the Tech-Wood siding product line fromin their Baltimore, Maryland; North Brunswick, New Jersey; and South Windsor, Connecticut branches.
