PartMiner WorldWide Inc. announced today the opening of its new Quality Inspection Facility in Shenzhen, China. The new facility provides additional and improved screening of electronic components sourced in China including passive components, discrete active components, low density IC, and high density IC. This facility will also handle PartMiner’s warehousing and logistics process in China.
Testing and screening provided by PartMiner’s Quality Inspection Facility includes authenticity inspection, compliance checks (WEEE, lead-free, RoHS), functional and characteristics testing, baking, and solderability testing. Extended testing such as XRAY inspection and decapsulation is available through PartMiner’s local partners. A partial list of facility equipment includes LCR Testers, Logic IC testers, leakage current testers, microscopes, programmable curve tracer, an industrial-grade digital camera, a flash test platform, and a baking oven. Detailed analysis reports are available for components that move through the facility.
