Eat|See|Hear, a SHOWTIME-presented Los Angeles outdoor film series, will show John Hughes’ classic comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Centennial Square at the Pasadena City Hall. This Pasadena outdoor movie event will also feature food trucks and live music by local bands.
There are several ticket options for this event. $10 general admission tickets, $8 kids’ tickets and $20 popchips-sponsored “Fashionably Late” tickets, which allow access to premium seating, are available online at eventbrite.com. Additionally, there will be a limited number of passes available at the door for $12. The event begins at 5:30 p.m., with the band playing at 7 p.m. and the film showing at 8:30 p.m.
“We are really happy that we get to bring our outdoor film series to Pasadena again this year,” says Co-Owner of Eat|See|Hear Sharon Sperber. “This is a really fun movie to show, and we are showing it at a really beautiful venue, the city hall building.”
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a classic 1980s high school comedy starring Matthew Broderick as Bueller, a hooky-playing high school student who takes the day off to explore the city of Chicago. The film also stars Mia Sara and Alan Ruck as Bueller’s girlfriend Sloane and best friend Cameron. The film is characterized by Bueller’s frequent addresses to the audience.
Attendees of Eat|See|Hear’s presentation of Ferris Bueller’s Day off will have the chance to hear live music [band TBA] presented by Oragami Vinyl, and will also have access to the following food trucks that will be onsite: Rounds Burger, Tortas 2 Die 4, Green Truck, Phantom Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster, Border Grill, The Fry Girl and Coolhaus.
Eat|See|Hear is LA’s premier outdoor movie, food truck and live music series that brings an evening of fun to Los Angeles-area venues each summer. The second annual series is presented by SHOWTIME, featuring up and coming bands from the local music scene, the hottest food trucks and the only 3-story high, 52-foot wide inflatable movie screen west of the Mississippi with the highest quality HD-projection and digital surround sound.
