“All of the co-founders loved the idea of a product that supports creativity, self-expression, friendship, and education for children,” says Seth Anderson
Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) February 21, 2013
PatchPak, the Original Patch System that allows kids to buy uniquely designed patches and apply them to items that are an important part of their daily routine, such as backpacks, lunch bags, and binders, is proud to announce that their official e-commerce website was launched in partnership with i5 web works.
PatchPak grew out of the dreams and efforts of two Fort Worth, Texas families. Mother of three and co-founder Laura Anderson watched as her kids expressed their personalities each day through art and embellishment. They doodled on their notebooks, decorated their room doors, and blinged their backpacks. Like every mother, Anderson loved to see how happy they were after they made something unique that was "totally them."
Anderson and her husband, co-founder Seth Anderson, decided to pursue the creation of a product that would allow kids to express their interests and personalities every day in a unique and positive way. They brainstormed with family friend, father of three, and co-founder, Jeff Watts. The idea for patching backpacks was born one night on a camping trip as the two families sat around a campfire and saw their kids autographing each other's hiking packs.
During two years of product design and planning, each PatchPak product was reviewed by the children of the co-founders. The original, exclusive PatchPak patches were inspired and approved by the founding kids, who also voted to determine the initial colors of the packs.
“All of the co-founders loved the idea of a product that supports creativity, self-expression, friendship, and education for children,” says Seth Anderson, “We were so impressed and excited to witness creative young minds at work when developing the PatchPak system.”
