"Our new site was designed to have something to offer all knitters and natural fiber enthusiasts," said Susan Mills, creative director for Nashua Handknits. "From our beautiful hand knit yarns to joining our newsletter, nashuaknits.com is a compendium of information that leads directly to the knitter's local shop."

Designed to stimulate and inspire today's knitting, nashuaknits.com features the work of well-know designers like Kathy Zimmerman, Gayle Bunn and Kristin Nicholas, to name a few. A powerful search function will allow you to view clearly full color ranges of all yarns and search yarns by name, weight, gauge and fiber content. Patterns, too, are searchable by yarn fiber, yarn weight and style of garment. All patterns images are printable, include sizing information and yarn amounts required, plus lead directly to the Store Locator for US and Canadian shops.

For your added convenience, if a particular yarn or pattern has a page on the highly-popular knitting community site, Ravelry, a direct link entitled "Ravel It!" lets you click through to chat about it and share tips and inspiration with other Nashua Handknits lovers.

Better yet, the new site gives you access to register to receive Nashua Handknits' monthly newsletter Knit Today™. Every issue of Knit Today™ includes free downloadable patterns. An archive of past issues and free patterns are also accessible from the web site's home page.

Introduced in 2005, as the North American knitting division of Westminster Fibers, known for their distribution of Rowan, Gedifra and Regia yarns, the personality of Nashua Handknits reflects the lifestyle of the modern North American knitter. Nashua Handknits focuses on yarns based on natural fibers - cotton, wool, alpaca, kid mohair and silk, with select synthetic fibers plus seasonal themed pattern collections.
