Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) September 07, 2012
Patterson Pope, a leading supplier of Spacesaver products and others used for commercial storage applications, has taken over the sales territories of Alabama and Georgia that were previously served by Walter Hopkins Company. Founded in 1969, Walter Hopkins closed for business in August 2012.
“We are excited to expand our footprint by adding Georgia and Alabama to the states we serve,” said Patterson Pope President Denny Hammack. “More importantly, we are honored to continue the tradition of excellent sales and service that Walter Hopkins Company provided for 43 years.”
Patterson Pope has hired 15 previous employees from Walter Hopkins.
“These employees will certainly help us hit the ground running,” Hammack said. “They will ensure a smooth transition as we maintain the operations of the former Walter Hopkins’ offices in Atlanta, Birmingham and Savannah. Their knowledge of the Alabama and Georgia markets as well as their long-standing client relationships will be essential to our success.”
