It's time for Americans to get straight answers about who is the best leader. My candidacy is about solutions, not political rhetoric.
Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) July 21, 2010
Yesterday, US Senate candidate Paul Akers challenged fellow Washington US Senate candidates Patty Murray, Dino Rossi, and Clint Didier to a debate for the August primary election. Talk show host John Carlson of KVI has offered to moderate the debate.
Akers stated, “It's time for Americans to get straight answers about who is the best leader. My candidacy is about solutions, not political rhetoric. Americans are begging for authentic leadership with answers to tough questions and that's what I will deliver.”
Akers will pursue a debate in Seattle that will be broadcast on radio with the possibility of a second debate in Spokane. Akers expressed willingness to assist in any way to set this up.
“I see other candidates just doing politics as usual, but I'm wondering, where's the beef? I'm the only candidate who is creating jobs, has never laid anyone off, is an expert at eliminating waste, spends thousands daily educating his employees, has never taken earmarks or subsidies, does business in 40 countries, and is a proven leader.
“Voters need to know that there is an intelligent choice for Washington this election. We don't have to settle for more of the same. I offer innovative ideas and real change that can restore this country to greatness.”
