Payments industry veteran provides leadership and expertise to enhance business growth

Baker brings more than 20 years of experience to ControlScan, including executive management and sales positions in the payments industry. In his new role at the PCI compliance solutions provider, Baker is responsible for developing partnerships with processors and merchant banks and driving sales growth within ControlScan’s North American operation.

Prior to joining ControlScan, Baker was senior vice president of business development at Atlanta-based CRE Secure Payments, where he was responsible for guiding strategy and directing all CRE business development activities, such as identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with Tier 1 processors.

Prior to CRE, Baker held several senior management positions at Norcross, Ga.-based CheckFree Corp. for more than a decade, serving as vice president of corporate business development; vice president of strategic partners, software; vice president of strategic alliances, electronic commerce; vice president of client operations, software; and vice president of sales, software at the provider of financial electronic commerce services and products.
