Residents of Newtown, Yardley, Fairless Hills, Levittown and northeast Philadelphia interested in dental implants can now have them placed at Pearl Dental Arts by Dr. Abid Paghdiwala, a dentist who recently received his Mastership status in dental implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Paghdiwala has been practicing in Philadelphia and the suburbs of Newtown and Levittown in Bucks County since 1981. Besides general family dentistry, he also offers cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers and crowns and cosmetic tooth bonding. For the last ten years, Dr. Paghdiwala also places dental implants. After hundreds of hours of dental implant courses and training and completion of dozens of implant procedures, he received a Mastership from the ICOI.
The ICOI is a worldwide dental educational organization dedicated to communicating scientific knowledge and improving the clinical practice of dental implantology. The awarding of Mastership status is an honor which a professional society such as the ICOI bestows on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. The Mastership program of the ICOI encourages active members to achieve Mastership status through their efforts in education, research and actual clinical experience.
Dr. Paghdiwala has received dental implant training from Nobel Biocare and advanced training in mini dental implants from Imtec. At Pearl Dental Arts, he has placed dental implants to support crowns, bridges, full dentures and partials. His patients for dental implants have not only been from Newtown, Yardley, Richboro, Fairless Hills and Levittown in Bucks County, from Philadelphia and neighboring states of New Jersey and Delaware, Dr. Paghdiwala also had a patient travel from Atlanta, Georgia to get implants and dentures!
