Our Drum Room has become one of the focal points of our showroom
(PRWEB) February 26, 2013
Haworth Music is celebrating the success of its dedicated Drum Room by offering a Pearl Forum Drum Kit as the prize in its latest Facebook competition. There is no cost, or purchase required to enter the competition.
Haworth’s, for decades known as the go-to place for musical instruments, decided in 2012 to make it easy for drummers, and aspiring drummers, to have a hands-on experience with a variety of kits. Because of the space that both acoustic and electronic drum kits occupy, the Haworth team decided to create a dedicated Drum Room within its multi-level music store.
“Our Drum Room has become one of the focal points of our showroom - if our customers aren’t up there getting a feel for the different drum kits, I’ll often hear what I suspect are Haworth team members channelling their inner Ginger Baker” said Haworth Managing Director, Glenn Haworth.
There is no doubt that at Haworth we are guitar specialists - after all my father, Phil, who started the business is a professional luthier. But our love of drums as well is now reflected in the Drum Room, which is staffed by drum specialists.”
The Pearl Forum Drum Kit that is being offered by Haworth Music Centre is worth over $1000 - and there is no cost or purchase required to enter the competition.
“The Forum series of Pearl Drums now has as standard the integrated suspension system (ISS) tom mounts that already feature in Pearl’s Vision Series. This ISS mounts attached to the toms hoops without contacting the shell,” said Mr. Haworth. “What this means to the drummer is maximum resonance and less time spent changing drumheads.”
The percussion prize includes the drum kit, including ride, crash and hi-hat cymbals and a pair of drumsticks, so the winner will be ready to start drumming right away,” he continued.
