People definitely spend less during tight economic times…so the recently released forecasts indicating a 27% increase in wholesale shipments in 2010 is great news.
Phoenix, AZ (Vocus) October 14, 2009
Pedata RV Center recognized the recent 2010 forecasts for the RV industry as an indication that economic downturn didn't change peoples interests in RVing. Experts in the industry suggest that overall decreased consumer spending was reflected less harshly in the RV industry than in other markets across the nation.
Gerard Pedata of Pedata RV Center said, "People definitely spend less during tight economic times…so the recently released forecasts indicating a 27% increase in wholesale shipments in 2010 is great news."
The forecasts were released by RVIA during a board meeting on Sept. 15, 2009 and were published by Dr. Richard Curtin in RV Roadsigns Fall 2009 issue. Curtin's forecasts project that a total of 146,200 units will be shipped by the end of 2009 increasing to a forecast total of 185,800 units shipped in 2010.
Pedata RV Center points towards RV lifestyle popularity when asked what has made the difference for the RV industry through the nation's recession. Mr. Pedata suggested, "As long as consumers are interested in the RV lifestyle we'll still see rv sales. And we know the consumers, and we know the interest is still alive and well."
Pedata RV Center is a recreational vehicle wholesaler; one of the largest in the nation. They have been actively wholesaling RVs for 10 years throughout the United States and Canada and have been actively selling at wholesale prices to the buying public for over 3 years.
