Standifer Insurance Group and the Pediatric Burn Foundation of America Announce Cooperative Charity Effort to Benefit Young Burn Survivors in Alabama

Standifer Insurance Group, a locally owned insurance company with offices serving Birmingham and the surrounding areas, is joining the Pediatric Burn Foundation of America in the launch of a new charity drive to support young burn victims in northern Alabama

Camp Conquest makes a huge difference in the lives of Alabama children, and this charity effort will ensure that the camp is fully funded and ready for kids again this year.

Standifer Insurance Group, a family owned insurance firm serving multiple communities in northern Alabama, is launching a cooperative charity drive with the Pediatric Burn Foundation of America to benefit young burn victims in the Birmingham area.

For 16 years running, members of the PBFA Burn Team have enjoyed a weeklong excursion at Camp Conquest, located at Children’s Harbor on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. Workshops for children at Camp Conquest teach trust, honesty, caring, gratitude, respect, responsibility, reliability, and teamwork through a series of non-competitive adventure program where children can have fun, make friends, and build self-confidence.

“Camp Conquest makes a huge difference in the lives of Alabama children, and this charity effort will ensure that the camp is fully funded and ready for kids again this year,” says Jessup Standifer, founder and manager of Standifer Insurance Group.

Standifer and his team are already hard at work creating an online social media profile and launching an email awareness campaign to help gather support for the PBFA Camp Conquest charity effort. On Friday the 15th , 2016, the Standifer Insurance Group held their first Cause Rally which aimed at reaching the $500 goal in a single afternoon. Because of the support from the Birmingham community, the event was a complete success. In addition, the Standifer Insurance Group will also be featuring the PBFA charity drive in a new article slated for publishing in “Our Hometown,” a monthly online magazine produced by the Standifer team: http://www.standiferinsurancegroup.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.

In addition to the current PBFA fund raising event, Standifer Insurance Group has worked with several other Alabama-based charities and causes over the last few months, and plans to work with at least one new Birmingham-area charity every 60 days going forward.
