Perry Properties Purchases Southern Colony
HOUSTON (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) March 1, 2007 --
Perry Properties has completed purchase of 66 acres with options for
additional acreage to complete the development of the Southern Colony
Subdivision in Fort Bend County, Texas. The $1.9 million phase
acquisition from Elan Development was financed by an investor group out
of Dallas, Texas.
Perry Properties CEO Will Perry said, "The acquisition of the
starter-home project along FM 521 in Rosharon represents a great
opportunity for Perry Properties to create a quality residential
community in conjunction with Trophy Homes and Royce Builders, all of
whom have signed letters for take-down of the 45 and 55 foot lots
commencing in the 3rd quarter of 2007."
Perry associate and former TV news anchor Bob Boudreaux, who is also
participating in the development, has brokered the deal. Southern Colony
currently has over 120 homes on the ground and the latest Perry
Properties purchase calls for an additional 300 lots in the near term.
