Persels & Associates Micah Yousefi Named Valedictorian for the College of Notre Dame

Persels & Associates is pleased to announce that Micah Yousefi, an employee of the firm, has been named Valedictorian for the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore and will deliver the commencement speech on Saturday, May 22, 2010. More than 700 women and men from Notre Dame’s Women’s College, Accelerated College, Weekend College and Graduate Studies programs will be awarded degrees.

“Micah is wise beyond her 23 years,” said Heidi Saas of Persels & Associates, Assistant Practice Manager. “At Persels, Micah works with our elderly and disabled clients and speaks to them with incredible patience and kindness. She’s a wonderful employee, a lovely person, and she has a keen legal mind."

Ms. Yousefi is also a finalist for the Fulbright Scholarship to South Korea. If she wins she will live and study in Korea for 13 months. Miss Yousefi has already been approved by the United States Fulbright Board and is currently waiting on their affiliate board in Korea.

"I know she will inspire her fellow graduates and their families as she inspires us every day. We are excited to hear about the status of her Fulbright Scholarship and we hope she will be a successful candidate," Ms. Saas added.

Miss Yousefi is a Political Science Major with a Pre-Law/International Studies focus and has minors in Philosophy and History.
