TAMPA, FL (PRWEB) October 18, 2013
Blick Law Firm is celebrating its recent growth, driven by its expanded practice area including immigration law, with an open house from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at the firm’s new headquarters, 3812 Gunn Highway in Tampa.
The launch is open to the general public, as well as Tampa Bay area professionals. A ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing will include county commissioners and a special guest appearance by Mayor Bob Buckhorn. As well as a U.S. Marine Corps color guard and other service members from the MacDill Air Force Base will be present.
Blick Law Firm is in celebration of not just a new location for the firm but also for Infinity Abstract & Title, a division of the firm.
To accommodate the growth, Blick Law Firm purchased the two-story, office building in Carrollwood in October 2012. The firm contracted with C.J. Carvalho Construction on the renovation and build-out process, and moved into the building exactly one year later in October 2013. The aesthetics of the location is impeccable in detail; keeping close to the firm’s ‘going green’ efforts. The design and layout is one of the few innovative buildings in its area to repel heat, making the atmosphere more energy efficient. This allows the firm to participate in the eco-friendly movement, as well as hopes to encourage other businesses in the Tampa Bay area to take steps to improve their office sustainability.
Blick Law Firm’s motto is helping the hurting. The firm stands behind their Christian-values to serve the community and their clients. As a token of gratitude, the firm has hand picked a charitable foundation to financially contribute to at this one-of-a-kind special occasion.
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player, Ryan Nece, established the Ryan Nece Foundation to be a beacon to teens by empowering them to impact giving in their communities. Ryan Nece foundation’s executive director will accept the charitable donation from Attorney, Michael Blickensderfer at the ceremony.
“The community is encouraged to join the celebration as it has been an instrumental part of our success,” said principal attorney Michael Blickensderfer. “Our growth directly reflects our belief in meeting the legal needs of our community. As one example, we heard a need in the community for help with immigration matters and we responded.”
To join this red carpet event, RSVP to http://blicklawevents.com/ by October 30th. At this momentous occasion the Blick team of attorneys and staff will be in attendance, and will have refreshments and food for guests. As well as, gifts and raffle items will be awarded by sponsored businesses, such as Tammy Levent of Elite Travel.
Elements of the building’s design will honor the Blickensderfer family history. Michael’s great-great-uncle George Blickensderfer started the Blickensderfer Typewriting Company, and designed and manufactured the lightest portable typewriter in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s as well as the one of the first electric typewriters, building one of the best-selling brands of its time. Several antique typewriters have been acquired for display in the office.
Art created by Dana Blickensderfer, the firm’s director of marketing and public relations (and Michael’s youngest daughter), adorns the walls, along with artwork depicting elements of the Blickensderfer typewriters.
