Peter Buffett, an Emmy-winning composer and musician, is pleased to announce the donation of his song, "Can We Love?" to V TO THE TENTH, the 10th anniversary of V-Day taking place in New Orleans on April 12 at the New Orleans Arena. Mr. Buffett will perform the song live at the event, and free downloads of the track will be offered online at www.vday.org and other leading portals in the weeks surrounding the star-studded celebration, which features Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda and musical performances by Faith Hill, Jennifer Hudson, and Charmaine Neville.

"This song reminds me of my own ideals during the civil rights era. I'm proud to see my son doing what he does best for this cause," said Warren Buffett.

At the request of Eve Ensler, Peter Buffett sang "Can We Love?" especially "V-mixed" for a recent gala 10th anniversary celebration in New York. He introduced the song by saying, "We are here because of the power of one woman's voice. But it's not just because Eve has the courage to speak for others, but because she gives others the courage to speak. I hope that by the end of this song all the men in the room are singing along with me. If men's voices can be brought into this movement, we can begin to turn some of these monologues into dialogues."
