PhoneSmart Self Storage Call Center Celebrates Its 900,000th Storage Reservation

PhoneSmart, recipient of the "Best Call Center" award, celebrated a milestone today when the company wrote its 900,000th self storage reservation.

PhoneSmart, an off-site sales and reservation center answering self storage rental inquiries for more than 100 client companies and more than 800 individual properties in the United States, Canada and Mexico, announced today that at 9:46 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, April 17, the company wrote its 900,000th lead reservation when it took a reservation for a storage unit at StorageMart self storage center in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

PhoneSmart wrote its first lead reservation in December 2000 and has since become one of the leading providers for self-storage call center services. Evidence of PhoneSmart’s increased presence in the self-storage industry can be found in past reservations milestones. Approximately 11 months passed between 600,000th and 700,000th reservations and again between the 700 and 800,000th. However, it took less than 9 months to go from the 800,000th to 900,000th reservations logged by the call center. This trend hasn’t gone unnoticed within the industry either. Recently, PhoneSmart was named the recipient of the first-ever Inside Self Storage Award for Best Call Center.
