...some of our users have been asking for a regular toolbar with more features like a paint brush or ability to add text to their photos.

PicResize.com announced today that a new online advanced photo editor will join the website’s current suite of express resizing and cropping tools in late September. The innovative editor, built as a non-Flash web application using HTML5, is designed to deliver a powerful and advanced set of photo editing tools on the Web in a typical image editor interface such as Adobe Systems Inc.’s Photoshop software. The PicResize Editor Web application will be released and available for free on September 26th, 2012.

PicResize.com users will be able to choose between the existing PicResize Express tool that allows a user to easily resize, crop and add special effects to their photos, and the new PicResize Editor tool that will include additional features such as a multi-color paint brush, adding text with multiple fonts, and many more special effects. Users can also seamlessly switch between both tools with the click of a mouse button while editing their photos.

“While our free tool at PicResize.com has helped process more than 30 million photos, some of our users have been asking for a regular toolbar with more features like a paint brush or ability to add text to their photos,” said Nich Wattanasin, founder of PicResize.com and owner of InterNich LLC. “We have heard their requests and will be releasing our new advanced editor within the month, which will remain completely free to use.”

The new advanced PicResize Editor is different than most online image editors out there today. “Many full-fledged online photo editors are built on Adobe’s Flash platform and requires the user to have Flash installed on their computers,” explains Wattanasin. “Our HTML5 based editor will be compatible on all modern browsers.”
