Fodor's Travel Announces Israel and Turkey Photo Contests
Fodors.com users will have the opportunity to share their photos of Israel and Turkey with other travelers and enter to win a library of Fodor's new full-color travel guides. Until November 10, registered Fodors.com users are invited to "Show Us Your Israel" and "Show Us Your Turkey" by submitting favorite photos and descriptions of those popular destinations. The winning photographers in each contest will win complete libraries of Fodor's guidebooks, will be featured on www.Fodors.com and may appear in future Fodor's guidebooks.
New York (PRWEB) October 30, 2008 -- Visitors to Fodors.com will have the opportunity to share their photos of Israel and Turkey with other travelers and enter to win a library of Fodor's new full-color travel guides.
Until November 10, Fodors.com members are invited to "Show Us Your Israel" and "Show Us Your Turkey" by submitting favorite photos and descriptions of those popular destinations. The winning photographers in each contest will win a suite of Fodor's guidebooks which are now available with full-color photos throughout; 10 runners-up will receive two Fodor's guidebooks of their choice. The winning photos will be featured on Fodors.com and may appear in future Fodor's guidebooks.
The contest highlights Fodor's Focus on Photography , which provides travelers with expert advice on taking travel and vacation photos. Fodor's Publisher Tim Jarrell says, "Our members travel to some of the world's most beautiful and amazing destinations. We provide them with the information they need to bring home equally beautiful and amazing photos, by featuring extensive travel photo tips on Fodors.com."
Photo submissions will be accepted at Fodor's Turkey Contest and Fodor's Israel Contest through November 10, 2008.
Fodor's has previously run contests for Alaska and Summer Vacation photos. Winning Alaska photos are featured in Fodor's 2009 Alaska guide, on sale 12/2/2008, and Summer Vacation contest winners may be viewed at Fodors.com.
