President Obama Proposes Mandatory Electronic Medical Records By 2014 According to Private Practice Marketing Expert, Nitin Chhoda

As per the latest blog from Chhoda's website, President Obama is requiring mandatory implementation of EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) by 2014. At this time, this proposal does not include physical therapists, but that may change. The President has stated that this will help in the reduction of preventable errors in medical diagnosis as well as billing. The transition to an EMR would streamline procedures, reduce waste and eliminate the duplication of costly tests for physical therapy services.

Physical Therapy Management

Physical therapy EMR software programs provide the technology to increase profitability across the board, by allowing practice owners to not only cut costs, but to increase productivity and boost profits as well.

Denville, NJ (PRWEB) July 14, 2012

Physical therapy software becomes essential, especially for physical therapists that routinely schedule patients for multiple visits within a weeks time. Managing physical therapy billing, coding and diagnosis can be extremely challenging to both small and large practices. Nitin Chhoda, a physical therapist himself and a marketer, discusses further information about this new EMR technology.

By using a physical therapy management software program the chances for error in both therapy and billing are greatly reduced. The software program will be in compliance with the proposed documentation rulings that are scheduled to go into effect by 2014.

Nitin Chhoda, an expert in physical therapy management said, "Another advantage to using physical therapy documentation software is that, it allows the PT practitioner to spend more time on therapy and less time with billing and the business side of the practice. By simplifying the documentation which the Physical Therapist really love, they can improve their patients health and reduce the fear of errors for the PT."

An often overlooked aspect to using physical therapy scheduling and billing software is the reduction in cost of paper records, the space to store them, the risk of record loss or theft, that is virtually eliminated with built in backup systems.

Physical therapy EMR software also can be useful in marketing aspects of physical therapy services. "Physical therapy EMR software programs provide the technology to increase profitability across the board, by allowing practice owners to not only cut costs, but to increase productivity and boost profits as well." Chhoda stated.
