Piano Lessons Now is celebrating their launch of Private Online Piano Lessons by offering a Free Skype Lesson with classical concert pianist, Irma Svanadze. Online piano lessons break down the barriers of physical location, giving the most promising students access to the world’s best teachers.

“Online piano lessons are the next logical evolution to learning piano”, say site owner Ralph Burleson. “We piloted the concept for three months. Initially, teachers and students were intrigued by the idea, but skeptical of the benefit. However, after a lesson or two, they were hooked. Online piano lessons are effective and convenient.”

Several performing concert pianists have volunteered to give aspiring students a free online piano lesson over Skype. “These quality teachers were not available to the typical student before -- simply because of distance. Teaching online have solved this location problem.” Now students can enjoy the convenience of the Internet and the quality of personal instruction.

Another benefit of online lessons is saving time for students and teachers. “People in the US are always very busy.”, says Irma Svanadze who holds degrees in piano performance from conservatories in Europe, in addition to advanced degrees in the US from Indiana University and Michigan State. “It is difficult for them to make time for lessons and practice. My students who take two shorter online lessons a week, improve faster than those who take a single in-person lesson.” Irma thinks that knowing their next lesson is “tomorrow” might motivate them to practice more.

“Online Piano Lessons are a great way to learn. Once people try them, they don't want to go back to the old way,” says Ralph. “I’m certain it’s the future of piano instruction. I’m grateful to our volunteer teachers who are helping us get the word out.”
