The ensemble of 13 actors includes a number of Chicago household names, such as Whit Spurgeon, Howie Johnson and Marty Shannon, who have been prominent in the local acting community for several years, Usman Ally, who is currently billed as one of the top five Chicago male performers of 2008 by New City Stage, and Kate Henley, who was recently featured in The Dark Knight and The Unborn.

"Chicago has a tremendous pool of talent, especially character actors, so finding the cast and working with them has been one of the highlights of this project", commented Boris Wexler.

Boris Wexler, the creator of the web series, is a Chicago based director, producer and Internet entrepreneur. He was born and raised in France and moved to the US in 2002. Boris has directed several shorts that screened at juried film festivals worldwide, and is currently in development for two feature films.

Paul Peditto, who co wrote Pillow Talks, has been writing for over 30 years, has published several plays with over 25 productions of his work performed in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. In 1997, Paul also directed Jane Doe, a Unipict Films release starring Calista Flockhart.

Elaine Tuman, who is also co-writing the series and managing the production, has written several screenplays. Her short story "Volcanoes," is upcoming in the literary magazine "Kestrel," and her essay, "Edit and Spin" was included in the recently published anthology, "Powder: Writing by Women in the Ranks from Vietnam to Iraq".

The first 13 episodes of the web series were shot in October 2008 and are being released weekly on Thursdays, with additional episodes scheduled for production in March. As part of the content to support the show, the audience is encouraged to post commentary on the forum and to rate the episodes. "Social media and online communities are becoming an increasingly important tool in the new film and video distribution models that are emerging on the Internet.", adds Wexler, who is very present on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and the other major social media networks.

Some of the series' initial characters include Rex and Rochelle, an adult film star and her producer husband, Gary and Frank, an old couple who spend most of their time arguing, and Sunil, an aspiring Indian filmmaker.
