GeoPot, a Bay Area hydroponics supplies company in Petaluma which specializes in fabric plant containers, announces that they have added new features to their GeoPot products. Their new GeoPots now have convenient handles that make it easier to move plants around the garden. Their GeoPot Transplanter now features a Velcro seam down the side which makes transplanting easier. The new product features are now available in time for the holidays.

The GeoPot is a self-supporting breathable fabric plant container that air prunes a plant’s roots when they reach the edge of the container. This air root pruning process forces the roots to branch out with more fibrous feeder roots, which are more efficient in taking up water and nutrients. And as such, results in healthier roots that provide more nutrients to the plant. The porous fabric allows air into the root zone and provides great drainage, creating a healthy environment for the roots. With the combination of air root pruning creating a better root structure and the aeration of the root zone, the plant can reach its full potential.

Santa Rosa’s plant pots at GeoPots are equipped with handles come in one-gallon to 30-gallon pots. 15-gallon and larger pots come with 4 handles. GeoPot Transplanters with Velcro seams allows the side of the container to open for easy removal of the root ball when transplanting, which makes transplanting an ease while reducing transplant plant shock.

“GeoPot keeps gardeners true to their roots by helping them grow strong, vigorous plants – even in harsh climates,” says the owner of GeoPot.

For the traditional raised bed gardeners, there is the PVC framed GeoPlanter. Santa Rosa’s planter boxes come in several sizes for a variety of gardening needs. The PVC pipe frame aids in keeping the planters rectangle shape and provides a convenient base for building a plant support trellis or cold frame above the planter. Easy set up that takes only minutes. GeoPlanter is a convenient and cost effective way to have a great garden.

Both GeoPot and GeoPlanter are made from a very durable geo-textile fabric that is able to withstand constant moisture and UV exposure, allowing them to last for years of continuous gardening. They are completely reusable and recyclable. They also light weight and flatten for easy storage and shipping.
