Rehabmart.com, an online e-commerce company that sells rehabilitation and medical supplies, has joined into a distribution partnership with the Playaway Toy Company, Incorporated, to offer indoor playground equipment to a larger consumer base. A dream come true, the Playaway Toy Company was formed by four brothers who have never quite grown up. Despite being raised as poor farm kids, they discovered individual talents that complemented each other, and they learned at an early age that there was nothing that they couldn’t do together. They were a creative bunch of youngsters, designing tree forts, swings, ropes and boats out of nature’s detritus and old scrap materials, building tunnels and forts, strengthening their brotherly bonds and solving conflicts within their own ranks. They didn’t realize it at the time, but those were the simple days that defined and formed them into the people they have become.

These brothers took their love of fun and toys into their adult lives and began designing things they wished they had when they were kids. The Rainy Day Indoor Playground was their first design and this was so well accepted that they formed the Playaway Toy Company and started selling the product to major catalog retailers. After about a year of business, their product line took a turn into the Exceptional Needs market, as parents with autistic children found their products to be very useful educational toys. The swing was not just a want with these children, it was a necessity. So the brothers began design of attachments that could perform multiple tasks with a single piece of equipment, eliminating the need to purchase multiple products, and instead just designing items that could be interchangeable. The company brought exceptional needs book authors and others with this expertise on board to weigh in on the products they were developing for the exceptional needs community, and their products quickly became the number one selling product line in the exceptional needs industry.
