A Family’s Love Inspires Mr. Rooter Plumbing Gift to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh donated $3,250 today, to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. Mr. Rooter Pittsburgh, collected this during its “For The Kids” campaign last summer at the Three Rivers Regatta. The check was presented at 3:00 p.m., EST to Kristen Crusan in the lobby of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. “This charity is near and dear to our hearts because we have kids; 15 of them that we have welcomed into our home,” Bob and Carol Beall of Mr. Rooter Plumbing Pittsburgh said. “The health of a child should never be taken for granted,” says Carol, ” for when a family is in the midst of a medical crisis, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation is there to heal the entire family.”

“We are very thankful to this foundation for their family programs which provide education, support and activities to help families cope with the challenges that are endured during a child’s hospitalization. Beall, his family, his employees and their families, all contributed to this donation, that was the result of sponsoring the “Kid’s Zone” during the Three Rivers Regatta in 2011. Beall’s wife Carol, sons, JP and Alex and daughter Megan were in attendance; they all share their father’s philanthropic efforts with enthusiasm.
