PNC will host a live video chat for teachers, students and other visitors to The PNC Christmas Price Index Web site, http://www.pncchristmaspriceindex.com, on Dec. 17. The PNC Christmas Price Index is a whimsical economic analysis by PNC Wealth Management based on the cost of gifts in the holiday classic ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas.’ Details for the Live Chat can be found below.

The 26th annual Christmas Price Index rose 1.8 percent in 2009. Drivers for the Christmas Price Index increase included the price of the Seven Swans-a-Swimming; gold prices hitting resulting in gold rings rising 43 percent; and another increase in the minimum wage, which provided a second consecutive raise for the Maids-a-Milking.
