US Citizen Online Poker Players Wish for XMas Present

Online poker players in the United States are hoping for an ongoing Christmas present and wish that they could continue to deposit and play at the online poker sites accepting US players.

(PRWEB) December 23, 2006 -- Poker players in the US whom are currently playing at US accepted poker sites like the ones listed at www.compatiblepoker.com/usa.php are making Christmas wishes. These wishes are that one day their online poker pastime will one day be restored and regulated.

These online poker enthusiasts are also hoping that the regulations which will be set upon banks and deposit providers to stop online gambling will be delayed until the full 270 days are up.

While poker players know their fate is looking very grim once deposit providers and banks are forced to regulate there is still hope that one day online poker will be regulated, taxed, and fully legal in the USA.

According to Compatiblepoker, the largest record keeper of what's happening with poker sites and companies involved with online gambling in the US, there is still mass confusions about the law.

There are still hundreds of poker sites accepting poker players from the USA, such as PokerStars.com , but players are beginning to get worried as online gaming sites send out suspicious emails.

Some poker rooms have been seen offering incentives each week to deposit using different ewallet providers. This seems to be a tactic to get players diversified so once Neteller falls they will possibly have other means to fund their accounts.

It still seems that online poker is just as popular as ever with US citizens. Hundreds of thousands of US residents continue to play online. It looks like Santa Claus has granted them their wish, but for how long?

Compatiblepoker says they will continue to track the poker sites and deposit providers actions and moves at www.compatiblepoker.com/usa.php

Compatiblepoker is strictly a news source. Online gamblers should check local laws before proceeding to play online poker. States where it is against the law to gamble online should not visit Compatiblepoker or must not gamble online. A good resource is Pokerplayersalliance.org
