Victor Equipment, creators of high-performance aftermarket Porsche Wheels engineered specifically for precise compatibility with Porsche vehicles has introduced a stunning new model, designated the Victor Equipment Innsbruck. Thirteen size variations assure it is a perfect fit for all current Porsche models from the Boxster roadster to the big Cayenne SUV.

Custom Porsche wheels are as unique as Porsche vehicles themselves and, in many ways, are different from all other wheels. One example of this is the higher offsets required for fender clearance, while allowing tolerance for the massive brakes found on all models of Porsches. Another example is that to accommodate Porsche Boxster wheels, Porsche Cayman Wheels and wheels for the 911 family of Porsches, wheels must be wider in the rear than in the front. The Innsbruck wheel is engineered to different specs for each Porsche model, model year. Wheel diameters of 18”, 19” and 20” are available for all Porsches, including 20” for the Sporty 4 seat sedan - the Panamera, with 22” diameters available for Porsche Cayenne wheels and Porsche Panamera wheels.

The Innsbruck design is comprised of eight “tuning fork” spokes radiating from a center hub. It is available in serious Matte Black finish as well as striking Silver with a mirror-cut face. All wheels are hub centric for a smooth vibration-free ride. In addition to precisely matching the Porsche’s unique very wide bolt pattern, the Innsbruck allows for use of the factory-supplied lug bolts as well as accommodating the option of using the original equipment Porsche Crest center caps. The Porsche tire-pressure monitoring system is fully supported as well.

In keeping with the Porsche ethos of ultimate performance, the Innsbruck wheel in manufactured using a cutting edge advanced technology called rotary forging. The goal is to minimize wheel weight while actually increasing its strength and durability. The rotary forged Innsbruck is created from an initial cast of aluminum alloy, then the barrel is forged as it is spun at high speed under intense pressure with complex computer-controlled machinery. This fundamentally alters the molecular properties of the alloy, creating a much tighter grain structure than found in a standard cast wheel. The resulting mechanical strength allows Victor Equipment engineers to reduce the thickness of the barrel, with weight saving that accrues to the outer-most circumference of the wheel. That means rotational mass is dramatically reduced which enhances vehicle performance and handling.
