West Mountain welcomes Edgar Ortiz as Director of Strategic Planning. Mr Ortiz will be responsible for Strategic Planning and Market Analytics as the firm continues to expand its well-established capital preservation family of products.

West Mountain, LLC today announced that Edgar Ortiz has been named Director of Strategic Planning.

The company recently added to its product offerings and will now be focusing on portfolio protection in addition to its already, well-established capital preservation capabilities.

Before founding Strategic Analytic Solutions, Mr. Ortiz was a McKinsey Management Consultant, Head of Global Risk and Marketing Analytics at Dun & Bradstreet Corp., and Senior Director at Diamond Technology Partners. He has also held several senior management positions at GE Capital, IBM, JCPenney, and Citibank. He is a past President of the Texas Chapter of the American Statistical Association and author of several papers on Customer Value Management, Pricing, Information Technology and Predictive Modeling. Mr. Ortiz is also a regular contributor to Business Section of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
