Our stores are truly neighborhood toy stores
Ayer, MA (PRWEB) September 28, 2011
Learning Express Toys, winner of the 2011 Franchise Business Review Specialty Retail Category, has plans to continue its growth in 2011. This year they are on track to open at least 15 new locations throughout the United States. Currently, new demographic studies conducted for specific locations indicate a strong success potential for Learning Express franchise business opportunity in Oregon.
With all of the economic doom and gloom news it’s refreshing when you find businesses that continue to grow and prosper. As unemployment rates escalate, many are left pondering their next step professionally; either updating and sending out resume’s to find a new job working for a business while others look into pursuing their dream of opening their own business. “Our stores are truly neighborhood toy stores. Our businesses are growing and our success has been a community effort, “said Sharon DiMinico, founder and CEO of Learning Express Toys. According to DiMinico, unlike several big box retailers that have fallen victim to economic pressures and have been forced to close their doors, Learning Express toy stores continue to serve children in communities across the nation. The company reports that 15 new locations were opened in 2010 and currently, the franchise has 150 locally owned and operated stores nation wide. “Our store owners are highly-motivated individuals who are passionate about owning their own business and creating lasting memories for their customers, as well as becoming an integral part of the community in which they serve,” said DiMinico.
In addition with the holiday season approaching, malls are very interested in having a Learning Express toy store as an attraction for shoppers. These stores open in the fall and remain for three or four months providing excellent opportunities for existing franchises to capitalize on the busiest time of the year for the toy business by opening a temp location and expanding their market reach.
In May of 2011 the company partnered with Educational Insights, a manufacturer of high quality educational toys and the sponsor of the first-ever Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament. Learning Express was named as the retail destination for Educational Insights products advertised during the Jeopardy! tournament, generating unprecedented brand exposure for the franchise. The company celebrated its 2011 successes at this year’s Annual Learning Express Convention, held in Jacksonville, FL this past June.
