The inaugural golf benefit to support victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse will take place Saturday, Sept. 29, with a noon shotgun start at the Port Ludlow Golf Club, 751 Highland Drive.

The entry fee for the general public is $80. It is $40 for Port Ludlow Golf Club members.

Registration forms must be received no later than Sept. 15.

The tournament is hosted by the Olympic Peninsula Boeing Bluebills, a group of retirees and their spouses who donate time and skills to community projects, and the proceeds will go to The Dove House in Port Townsend.

Included in the entry fee are green fees, carts, range balls, BBQ box lunch, contests, raffles, and one drink ticket. Appetizers will be served at tournament end, concluding with an awards ceremony.

Dove House provides crisis intervention, emergency food and shelter, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, individual support and counseling support groups, and therapy for child and adult victims, and maintains a 24-hour crisis line.
