As the leader in Online, On-Location and On-Demand technology for the resort and recreation industries, Resort Technology Partners (RTP) was ready for a new online presence. With the launch of its new website (http://www.rtp.com ), RTP incorporates the latest technology in website design, navigation and functionality. The design and guidance for the site’s development was provided by its own interactive marketing and website design division, RTP | Interactive.
In addition to the re-design of the website, a new Customer Portal was developed to provide RTP clients with online access to industry-leading support services, training classes and a new Ideas Exchange forum -- a place in the portal where customers can go to interact with RTP’s product management team, and express their ideas about new products, enhancements and technologies.

For the design itself, RTP | Interactive incorporated technologies such as Flash and jQuery to enhance the functionality and experiential design, while keeping the site simple and easy to navigate. Visitors will also find a new “Share This” feature allowing them to easily share information found on the site through their favorite social media outlets, as well as a new Blog that highlights timely industry topics.
Following the recent release of its new consumer-based iPhone® app, REALSKI (an augmented reality app for skiers and snowboarders), RTP added a Twitter button to the web page which allows visitors to follow tweets about REALSKI easily.
Another advantage of the new website is RTP’s ability to easily incorporate microsites into it. For its annual holiday program, RTP created a microsite featuring another recently developed iPhone app called RTP Snowglobe. The app is a free download, and part of a larger holiday fund-raising effort to help two youth-oriented charities, SOS Outreach and Youth Enrichment Services (YES). Both apps are now available in the iTunes® App Store.
