Albany bar, O' Toole's, spearheads 'pour-your-own-pint' table experience for customers.

O Tooles Albany Draft Tables

People have come from all over the region to check them out and use them.

O' Toole's Restaurant & Bar are the very first in the Capital Region to wow customers with a unique concept for their punters, a table where they can pour their own beer. Some might think they've found the crock of gold at the end of the rainbow in this local favorite Irish pub when they pour a beer at their seat. Better still, if they want to pour from the second of two taps at the table they don't need to get up, the beer tower rotates so that the beer comes to them.

So, who's behind this magical fountain? Ellickson USA are the distributors of the Draft Tables in the USA and sister company of the manufacturer, Ellickson International and, yes, they're based in Ireland.

O Toole's owners, Anthony & Lisa Gizzi, remarked, "the tables have been a great success since we introduced them a few weeks ago. People have come from all over the region to check them out and use them. We are now taking advance bookings for games and parties so that we can satisfy all those that wish to use them"

"We only recently received a letter from a NYSLA representative allowing use of our system in the state," Ellickson USA CEO/CMO Declan Duggan commented, "and O' Toole's were the first to jump on board."

He went on to explain that the state saw fit to allow their use as they only allow access to a limited amount of beer before the tables pause, staff make sure the customers are good to re-serve and they let beer flow again.

With four of these tables that can seat about eight people they are positive they can get most Capital Region beer drinkers to test drive them in the coming weeks. O' Toole's have raised the bar (or moved it a wee bit).
