As resorts begin to open up in Europe and the first snow starts to fall across North America, PowderQuest Tours announces the 2012 ski season in South America is coming to an end. Even though many resorts in Chile and Argentina have already stopped operations for 2012, there are still quite a number of ski areas that are still open and currently offering lift accessed skiing and snowboarding.

Even though many resorts in Chile and Argentina have already stopped operations for 2012, there are still quite a number of ski areas that are still open and currently offering lift accessed skiing and snowboarding.

As resorts begin to open up in Europe and the first snow starts to fall across North America, the 2012 ski season in South America is coming to an end. Even though many resorts in Chile and Argentina have already stopped operations for 2012, there are still quite a number of ski areas that are still open and currently offering lift accessed skiing and snowboarding.

Following a challenging season, South American resort operators are looking towards 2013 with hope and anticipation. La Parva ski resort located outside of Santiago, Chile called the 2012 season “the worst in the past seven years”.
