Eric Mitchell, President & Founder of the Professional Pricing Society, PPS PPS Website announced today that Kevin M. Mitchell will succeed him as the Company's next President & CEO, effective January 15th, 2009. Eric Mitchell, who has led PPS since 1984, will continue to be associated with the company as Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
"Kevin has been in a leadership role as COO of PPS for the last 2 years, but his most valuable contribution to PPS is his experience with PPS since he was a young man, Kevin is my son and PPS started 24 years ago as a family business, he has shared my vision since the beginning and now is his time to take the organization to the next era" Said Eric Mitchell, Chairman & Founder of PPS. "Kevin's background and education has allowed him to demonstrate strategic leadership and operational effectiveness, this will improve many areas of the business enhancing the quality of products we deliver to our members and partners"
Kevin's recent experience includes 12 years in operational and financial fields with General Electric and Colgate Palmolive. During his last assignment with Colgate, he was the Financial Manager for four of the company's brands. Kevin holds a BA in Economics and English from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Rochester.
