From the research undertaken by Premierline Direct, 41% of SME participants said that innovation is central to a successful business whilst only 8% said they capture ideas and implement them. This illustrates how important it is to encourage making innovation a more structured part of the business strategy and ultimately following an idea through to its conclusion.
Outlining the business expectations of an innovative concept can seem quite daunting but following a structured approach provides much needed guidance to staff and managers alike. Following this process, the end product is ultimately improved as the entire concept is fully explored, ensuring no steps are forgotten.
