SubscribeCast Technologies is excited to announce the release of their groundbreaking new web based premium podcasting application, Preeso (http://www.preeso.com).
Preeso is ground up redesign of SubscribeCastÂs first premium podcasting application, which currently is the backbone for paid podcasts like Mysterious Universe (mysteriousuniverse.org) and the podcasted version of the Ed Schultz Radio Show (bigeddieradio.com).
ÂWe really focused on the user experience. We want the customer to be able to set up a paid and protected podcast in minutes, not hours, or days, Chris Wolf, SubscribeCastÂs Director of Client Relations, said, Âand it looks like we succeeded!Â
Once a podcaster or digital media owner signs up for Preeso, they're ready to go. There is nothing to install on their end, and they can host their media on any server they choose, be it Yahoo, Libsyn, AOL, etc. Preeso is also server-OS independent.
A podcaster can have their protected podcast ready to go just minutes after signing up at preeso.com.
Preeso offers flexibility in features. Once registered, podcasters can hit the ground running using Preeso's ready-to-go subscriber sign up pages and buttons. They also have the option of making Preeso completely invisible by using its full, flexible API.
Once Preeso knows where your media is, it creates and manages RSS feeds created for subscribers, and doesn't intrude, unless a subscriber starts sharing their feed, or abuses the subscription in some other way. When the application senses abuse, it will respond automatically in a variety of customizable ways (an e-mail sent to the abuser, and/or the RSS feed is shut off, etc).
The application also hides the original web location of the delivered media, so subscribers cannot use their old RSS feed to mine the URL and access media after their subscription has ended.
Preeso provides in-depth reporting on information such as subscriber's location, age, download history and other data which can be used to help target ad placements within subscriptions.
ÂWeÂre excited about Preeso, and are extremely happy with the early reviews and responses weÂve received, Wolf said. ÂPreeso takes premium podcasting and makes it an easy option for anyone to implement.Â
