Montgomery County, MD (PRWEB) November 1, 2008
Part of the original "Dream Team" of pressure washing contractors that donated their services to clean the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials in DC, is coming to Montgomery County Maryland to pressure wash two large buildings for the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Given the current economic climate many non-profit organizations and contractors are facing difficult times but these four companies are still rising to the challenge to help out in any way they can.
Pressure washing contractors will clean the Spanish Ballroom and the Arcade building using professional grade products donated from Sun Brite Supply, a local pressure washing supplier for contractors in Maryland. Pressure washing contractors from Commercial Restorations, Bethesda Power Wash and Henry's Housework will be donating their crews and equipment to clean the buildings exterior.
The park began in 1891 as a National Assembly teaching sciences, arts and languages. By the early 1900s Glen Echo Park had become a premier amusement park serving the Washington area until 1968. In 1971 the federal government obtained the land and National Park Service began managing the park. Today the park is managed by the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, a nonprofit organization.
Buildings finished with stucco present unique challenges and difficulties to restoration and cleaning contractors. Commercial Restorations, Bethesda Power Wash and Henry's Housework are uniquely suited to tackle this challenge with nearly 50 years of combined experience in the field and extensive training they received in the pressure washing industry. This gives them the knowledge to clean a variety of commercial buildings and other surfaces. Together the pressure washers have cleaned local parks, monuments and other facilities in the DC Metropolitan area for free to help communities in need.
All three companies specialize in using a proven low pressure cleaning system that removes heavy stains and atmospheric contaminants with 800 PSI hot water and professional grade cleaning products. Most pressure washing companies depend on cold water and 3,000 PSI for cleaning houses and buildings which can cause significant damages.
Commercial Restorations, Bethesda Power Wash and Henry's Housework pressure wash millions of square feet a year in the metro-DC area to remove graffiti, clean building exteriors, multi family communities and shopping centers in the metro-DC area.
