With the efficiency and reliability of Toyota hybrids, consumers know that they are making an intelligent investment that is not only well-priced, but also will save them significant money on their monthly budgets.
Ramsey, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 27, 2012
For the past five years, Toyota has consistently topped lists ranking gas efficiency by automotive brand. Toyota currently has six vehicles that average 44 mpg and higher and rank in the “Top Ten Fuel Sippers,” according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Prestige Toyota proudly stands behind Toyota’s standard-setting mission of responsibility, offering all six environmentally friendly options at its Toyota dealership.
Gas efficient vehicles are popular in areas like New York and New Jersey, where the price of gas averages over $3.90 a gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). “With gas prices reaching all-time highs, people are looking for opportunities to save money,” stated Steve Reedy, General Sales Manager at Prestige Toyota. “With the efficiency and reliability of Toyota hybrids, consumers know that they are making an intelligent investment that is not only well-priced, but also will save them significant money on their monthly budgets.”
Of the six hybrids offered by Toyota, the Prius Plug-in is the newest release and the most efficient by far, offering up to an estimated 99 mpg. After only four hours of charge time, this plug-in can drive short distances without using any gas at all. It smoothly switches from electric to hybrid mode when the charge runs out, allowing for an unprecedented ease of use for the owner. And because the Prius Plug-in is built on the same chassis as the Third Generation Prius, Prius owners will find it easy to switch over to the plug-in model.
The Toyota Camry is now the top selling vehicle in America, according to the Wall Street Journal, and is available in hybrid form. The Camry Hybrid is designed for those wanting performance as well as economy out of their hybrid vehicle. “The Camry Hybrid actually has a lot of power behind it. Its 200 horsepower engine gives people the kind of acceleration they may not expect from a hybrid,” says Reedy.
All Toyota models come with the Toyota Care complementary maintenance package. Through this helpful program, routine maintenance is provided by the Prestige Toyota Service Department free of charge for the first two years or 25,000 miles. Also included for the first two years is a free, 24-hour roadside assistance program.
Toyota does not skimp on power when it comes to their hybrids, either. Every gas-efficient vehicle produced by Toyota generates reasonably great torque and pickup. The Highlander Hybrid features 186 lb/ft of torque, 50 lb/ft more than Ford Escape Hybrid, according to U.S. News.
Toyota’s design of the hybrid powertrain is also scoring high marks. The EPA has rated every currently available Toyota hybrid at eight or above on the Air Pollution Score Scale (with 10 being the best); this is high considering the Honda Civic Hybrid only scored a seven on this scale. Toyota proudly strives to set the emissions standards with its line of hybrid vehicles.
Prestige Toyota currently offers all six Toyota hybrid vehicles in its extensive inventory, including Prius, Prius Plug-in, Prius v, Prius c, Camry Hybrid, and Highlander Hybrid. Numerous trim levels and color options are all also available.
