“Our people at PRISM have supported the Komen race for many years. We all know someone touched by this disease. My mother is a breast cancer survivor,” CEO Ray Larson said. “Komen does great things to support those impacted by this disease and channels tremendous resources toward finding a cure. This is a great cause for PRISM to be involved in.”

The PRISM Services Group team consisted of seven employees and their families on their team, representing 25 percent participation by the company and a total of 15 participants.

The Komen Dallas Race for the Cure® is an annual 1K and 5K fundraising walk/run event held at NorthPark Center. It is a co-ed race and great fun for the entire family. The Race is in its 29th year and is part of a national 5K series sponsored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The goal of the event is to raise funds, heighten awareness and educate people about breast health as well as to recognize and celebrate breast cancer survivorship. The Race is the largest fundraising event for local breast cancer screening, treatment, education and research in Dallas County. Last year the affiliate granted $1,912,000 into the immediate Dallas community for these vital services.
