We believe that in this day and age, you need to find ways to communicate with your customers and potential customers.

Probation.us.org has launched a blog to help its customers learn more about their records and the probation system in general, company officials said yesterday.

“We don't want to just be a probation records search organization,” a company representative said. “We want to provide people with educational resources that can help them understand their overall legal rights.”

The blog, located at ProbationBlog.us.org, will advise people on how they can use probation records, provide details about what to expect from the probation system, and document customer service efforts at the company.

“We believe that in this day and age, you need to find ways to communicate with your customers and potential customers,” the representative said. “People come to us because they are looking for information. We want to help provide them with what they are looking for.”

In the coming weeks, the company will also launch social media contact points on Twitter, Facebook and other sources.

“This is all about communicating with our customers,” the representative said. “You can't simply be a call center anymore. People need to be able to learn about you and contact you online. It's the social media age.”

The blog will contain information about ways you can legally use probation records, when to do a probation search, and how to interpret a probation report, the company said.

“We think the best customers are educated customers,” the representative said. “This is part of that ethos.”
