Edgenet, Inc., today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Google, Inc., to provide the search company with high quality product information from suppliers. This service delivers complete and correct product information to help consumers find the products they’re looking for on Google.com and Google Product Search, the company’s shopping search engine. This represents the first time that suppliers will have the ability to provide product data to Google and have it checked for quality and represents a unique opportunity to differentiate a supplier from their competition.

Edgenet has implemented a proprietary product data quality process, newly named Ezeedata Optimization, which ensures product content meets or exceeds the standards set by Google. This same product data quality process scores product content in real time enabling brands to better hone and refine their messaging for the millions of shoppers finding, researching and buying products online.
Products found online have an average of seven attributes for shoppers to discover. Product data from Edgenet’s Ezeedata service have an average of 107 features and greater marketability. Edgenet’s new Ezeedata Optimization service will be available to manufacturers and suppliers in October and just in time for Cyber Monday and the holiday season.
