Producteev, a leading cross-platform task management provider for teams and individuals, today unveiled a slew of new apps that are more hyper-connected through cloud services, mobile devices, and social media. Now available as a web app, iPhone and Android mobile app, and Windows and Mac desktop app, Producteev is moving closer to its goal of enabling universal task management. Today, people need to create and store tasks across a multitude of platforms, devices, services and locations from email and IMs to voicemails and notes, traversing cloud services and sites on work-based PCs to personal laptops, tablets and mobile phones. Leveraging the cloud, Producteev's new apps sync, capture and manage tasks and to-do lists across the broadest list of platforms, devices, cloud services, and locations.

More Than 1,000 Business Customers Choose Producteev

More than 7 million tasks have been created on Producteev, which is the only task manager that integrates with complementary and competing services, such as: Google Apps, Google Tasks, Remember the Milk, Astrid, GMail, IM clients and many more. Demonstrating the company’s offering is striking the right cord with the market, Producteev announced it has surpassed more than 1,000 paying business customers using its task management offering. Producteev Makes Task Management More Social

Producteev also announced the integration with TaskRabbit, becoming the first to use TaskRabbit’s newly launched API. A novel service, TaskRabbit is an online network that safely and reliably connects people in a community to get both everyday and skilled tasks completed. By connecting these two offerings, users now can outsource any task from Producteev to TaskRabbit in a single click, expediting users’ ability to get things done and further driving the adoption of social crowdsourcing via task management.

The way individuals and businesses handle their work and tasks is changing. Producteev’s move allows people to “make everything taskable” using any platform, device, service or channel, underscoring large-scale shifts unfolding in this arena. New technologies, as well as societal and economic forces are spurring an increase in social crowdsourcing. New and Enhanced Mobile Apps; New Producteev for Windows App

Users can manage tasks directly from their Android or iPhone devices, using the new Producteev for Android or Producteev for iPhone V2 apps. Producteev’s new mobile apps work in conjunction with popular mobile and cloud services, providing users with comprehensive task management functionality such as: add, delegate and sort tasks, upload files, create subtasks, and print out task lists. Report generation is also fast and easy, providing a useful snapshot of projects and to-dos.

The company also unveiled Producteev for Windows 7, a native Windows app so users can easily manage tasks right from their desktop. Combining all the new features and enhancements in Producteev’s newly released mobile apps, users of Producteev for Windows will also enjoy native Windows 7 notifications as well as the ability to export and print reports and tasks lists.

Based on customer feedback, Producteev made a number of important enhancements to the new mobile and Windows apps, including:

  •     Ability to create multiple workspaces, access and work with task lists, set deadlines, collaborate with colleagues or with one’s social networks
  •     Natural language processing support speeds up capturing or assigning tasks. For example, users can set deadlines using days such as “next Monday,” assign tasks to co-workers using full names or nicknames, and can prioritize with a star-based assignment
  •     Manage the receipt and frequency of alerts for all tasks across multiple workspaces
  •     Advanced keyword search enables users to traverses multiple workspaces to quickly find tasks
  •     New administrative control settings allow or restrict access to join the workspaces
  •     Label auto-sorting organizes a user’s list of labels automatically based on their usage within the workspace, putting the most relevant at the top for easy viewing and access
  •     Invite users to collaborate right from the mobile app
  •     Access and work with all of one’s tasks in an offline mode

Producteev for the Web

The company has also introduced its newest version of Producteev for the Web V3. The new web app lets businesses and individuals manage their tasks from apps and services they already use, such as email, IM, as well as other popular websites like Gmail, Outlook, Astrid, etc. Here is a list of key features:
