FileMaker Work Orders version 188.8.131.52 includes several features for all aspects of field assignments. Dispatchers send electronic work orders directly to a field technician’s iPad or iPad mini. The system is fully functional on each device as well as both Windows and Mac operating systems. The system includes a built-in GPS system to make locating and navigating job sites easy. The FileMaker Go app, which supplements work orders for iPads, allows technicians to take notes, gather digital signatures, and calculate accurate pricing. From here, a field technician can send completed digital work orders to customers and back to the dispatcher, and move on to the next job.
The work order program also allows you to store contact information for each customer, information for each field technician, work order history, and images of all items in your inventory. With the customizable platform, you can personalize modules, and sort and organize information in a way that works best for you.
FileMaker Work Orders is also integrated with QuickBooks via the FileMaker Books Connector, enabling you to transfer information, items, and invoices between Work Orders and QuickBooks, as well as incorporate tax rates. Customers can have customized plug-ins professionally installed with FileMaker Pro Support.
