Professional HealthCare, a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice care, and non-medical caregiver services in four western states, is proud to announce that its acquisition of Home Health Services has been named a 2010 Finalist in the 9th Annual M&A Advisor Awards.

Home Health Services of St. George, Utah provides home health and hospice services to residents of Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. The acquisition by Professional Healthcare, made in January 2010 in partnership with Mainsail Partners, effectively expanded its service area to two additional states in the western United States. “We are proud of this recognition and would like to thank our equity partner Mainsail Partners for playing a key role in helping us to identify the opportunity and getting this transaction completed,” says John Griscavage, CEO of Professional Healthcare.

The M&A Advisor Awards honor excellence in deal-making. The acquisition of Home Health Services was nominated in the category of Healthcare/Life Sciences, $100 million and less. Winners of the Awards will be announced at the M&A Advisor Awards Summit in New York City on December 14th.
