Ben Shaw, Ed.D. and Martin Ippel, Ph.D. have joined the staff at Profiles International, further strengthening a talented research and development group. Both have extensive experience in the fields of research and data analysis. Shaw will serve as Senior Research Associate and Ippel as a dedicated research consultant.

"The addition of Dr. Shaw and Dr. Ippel to our R&D division further solidifies our position, not only as a leading provider of employment assessments, but also as a leader in research of human workforce behavior," said Jim Sirbasku, CEO of Profiles International.

Shaw has served as a consultant to state agencies in areas of research and data analysis, program effectiveness and research methodology. He has also taught university level courses in research design and statistical analysis.

Ippel served as Senior Scientist at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory and in 1988, was the co-chair of the first symposium of UAV technology. He later founded a company that created the world's first completely interactive set of tests to measure human intelligence.

Executive VP of Research and Development at Profiles, Dr. Scott Hamilton, noted that continuing to develop and improve upon products required expanding the panel of research experts.

"There is a tremendous amount of research and scientific testing that goes into creating and validating our assessments," said Hamilton. "As we develop new products, we are also constantly re-validating our assessments currently in the marketplace. That requires the gathering of large amounts of scientific data and professional analysis."
