Provo, Utah (Vocus) January 16, 2010

Larry Myler, longtime business strategist and consultant, current CEO of profit-enhancement firm More or Less, Inc. (http://www.moreorlessinc.com ) and author will celebrate the launch of his new book "Indispensable By Monday" -- already receiving strong acclaim and poised to be an instant bestseller -- with a keynote address at the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum’s (UVEF) February 11 luncheon event.

Myler’s book is clearly striking a universal need. He successfully secured a publishing agreement with Wiley & Sons 10 minutes after a cold call pitch via email, with no agent. Early sales, reviews and buzz about the pending launch has been so strong that Wiley is already negotiating with Myler for the second book in his series -- even though the first book is not scheduled to reach bookstore shelves until February 2, 2010.

Myler, a Utah Valley resident, will share insights and anecdotes from his first book, "Indispensible By Monday," which extends his strategy and vision to employees at all levels, teaching them how to add financial value that will protect their jobs in hard times, ensure promotions in good times, and help them rise above the competition in any job seeking crowd.

"Indispensable By Monday" is a must-read for business owners, employees and job-seekers. The book will be available for purchase at the event and Myler will be available to autograph copies.

“The current economic climate has created a lot of fear, anxiety and uncertainty. The messages in this book are addressing these universal needs in a profound and immediate way. I look forward to celebrating the book’s launch with fellow entrepreneurs and executives in Utah with the help of UVEF,” Myler said. “I’m confident the messages of adding value and bringing in more money than it costs to employ you will resonate with every worker, manager and CEO. We’ll give attendees practical tools they can implement to make their jobs more secure and their companies more profitable even within the space of a day.”

Myler has provided strategy and consulting for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies including Lockheed Martin, AT&T and Shell Oil. He has been involved in six start-ups, and is acutely aware of the nuances of business that lead to success. Myler served as president of corporate training company VitalSmarts for nine years. He is an individual who makes things happen: for three decades he has energized companies with new, concrete strategies for increasing top line revenue and expanding bottom line profits.

Myler holds an MBA with international emphasis from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business and a degree in psychology from Brigham Young University.

The luncheon will begin at noon on February 11 at Novell Building A in Provo, Utah. It is free for UVEF members and $25 for nonmembers. Please RSVP at http://www.uvef.com or call Michelle at (801)226-1521 ext. 101. For more information about Myler and "Indispensible By Monday" visit http://www.moreorlessinc.com .
