“The advertising industry today requires new, specialized skills.”

ProTableau, Inc., a programmatic advertising and digital media buying agency, today announced the launch of its digital media buying services for consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) marketers and advertising agencies. ProTableau brings the advantages of dramatic cost savings, hyper targeting and improved campaign performance of programmatic buying and real-time bidding to advertisers. Digital is creating new advertising opportunities beyond traditional media; however, without specialized knowledge and access to a trading desk they are unavailable to many marketers and agencies.

Programmatic buying allows advertisers to more precisely target audiences at lower cost. More ad inventory is being made available programmatically today while it is also becoming more sophisticated. “With advances in technology platforms, access to rich audience data, and new forms of digital media, the advertising industry today requires new, specialized skills,” said Rob Pellettier, Chief Programmatic Officer and Founder, ProTableau. “The largest advertisers rely on an agency of record, while other advertisers and independent agencies need to consult and collaborate with an expert to buy programmatically.”

Canadian Internet advertising grew 21% in 2015 to $4.6 billion with video and mobile ad spending growing at an even higher rate, according to IAB Canada. Digital ad spending in Canada and the US is forecast to represent 37% of total ad spending this year, according to eMarketer. In fact, the shift in advertising dollars to digital in the US is accelerating faster than expected with display being the top format followed by search and social media (Facebook). ProTableau has started working with a roster of B2C and B2B advertisers and agency partners to tap into this digital opportunity.

“Digital media and technology has dramatically changed marketing for all marketers. In particular, B2B marketers are employing many of the same channels, media and tactics that consumer marketers have traditionally used,” noted Michelle Corsano, Managing Director and Founder, ProTableau. “Programmatic and real-time bidding offers a new opportunity for B2B marketers to leverage their limited marketing dollars to build awareness and generate demand.”
